A cleric has recounted the moment when a person attempted to break into his Manchester Jewish temple during a lethal incident, remarking "I observed wickedness, I observed hate".

The cleric mentioned that he and congregation members held the doors of the temple as the attacker was "body-charging the doors, flinging large flower containers, trying whatever he was able to to get in".

Applauding the fast-acting of those at the temple, he remarked: "I observed true heroism, I must declare, and people who hurried to assist fellow members rather than fleeing. It was astonishing."

A 53-year-old man, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, both lost their lives after the individual struck individuals and attacked a individual on the day of the incident.
